Hannu Haakon made a strong impression at the Trakehner stallion licensing in Neumünster in November 2025, where he was named 2nd Reserve Champion. With his impressive type, movement capacity, and presence, he quickly became a crowd favorite and a professional highlight among the young stallions of the collection.

Hannu Haakon was previously part of the foal collection at the prestigious Bundesturnier and follows in the footsteps of his noble dam. She is the full sister of the top breeding stallion Helium, was named Vice Champion at the Central Mare Show (ZSE), and achieved the highest auction price at the Trakehner Hengstmarkt in 2020 (NMS ’20/44) – a true hallmark of the line’s breeding value.

The strong dam line originates from the Polish state stud Walewice and has, over the years, produced outstanding profiles such as the Grand Prix horse Herakles TSF (Wieger and Paula de Boer), the Danish champion stallion Hertug, and the multiple dressage champion Hallifax, ridden by Anders Hoeck.

Hannu Haakon thus represents both tradition and renewal in modern sport horse breeding.
